Bahay MAPALAD opens its doors to homeless

On October 15, 2018, Bahay MAPALAD at 48 Betty-Go Belmonte St. in Cubao opens its doors anew to homeless people. Twenty-six individuals came to bathe, do their laundry, cook, and take a good rest, all of whom were part of the old group who used to go to the drop-in before the space was made bigger. This was followed by another group on October 17th, some were also part of the old team but most are new. Those that came from the old group expressed amazement at how the space became a lot expansive, and the children could not stop moving around the free space. All were happy that they now have a bigger and more complete space.

Activities started with a prayer, and the day ended with rules and regulations discussed and approved by the homeless themselves.

Bahay MAPALAD is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You are most welcome to drop by and spend some time with our homeless friends.
